i3 Commerce Technology™ Named BBB® 2014 Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics Winner
i3 Commerce Technology was named a winner of the 14th Annual BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics in the Pavilion Ballroom at the Horseshoe Casino, Thursday, October 23. BM2 Freight Services, Inc. of Highland Heights; iSPACE, Inc. of Sharonville and Cincinnati Youth Collaborative of Cincinnati were also named winners.
“Our winners take great pride in ensuring an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers can trust one another. This honor is earned through an exhaustive self-evaluation. The end result is an extraordinary recognition from their peers and the community,” said Jocile Ehrlich, President and CEO of BBB.
“The Torch Award places i3 Commerce Technology in an elite class of businesses,” said Ryan Rybolt, president of i3 Commerce Technology™. “We were able to accomplish this achievement because our leadership team and business partners put ethics first for employees, customers and suppliers. Our team carries that example and badge of integrity through each day as they approach our current and potential customers.”
Each Torch Award application was carefully reviewed by a third party judging panel for final selection. Only 120 businesses have received the BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics since the program was launched in Cincinnati in 2000. “i3 Commerce Technology™ is proud to be the only electronic payment processor company to be named a Torch Award winner,” added Rybolt. “We’re proud that many of the more than 100 businesses who have been recognized are now our peers and our clients.”
Tom DeBord, CEO, Rybolt and Joff Moine, COO, founded i3 Commerce Technology™ to focus on serving small to mid-size businesses in need of a smarter and more transparent approach to payment processing. i3 Commerce Technology’ processing solutions allow customers and partners to become more competitive and profitable in their respective market. Over the past 10 years, that strategy has created a model for exponential growth and distinguished i3 Commerce Technology™ from all other providers in the payment processing industry.
