Important Notice Regarding Your Transaction History
PayPal is making some policy changes and we wanted to make you aware of upcoming updates to your Payflow Pro Gateway’s Recurring Billing Transaction History data.
On March 1, 2018, PayPal will only be storing the last 5 years of Recurring Billing Profile transactional data. If your business needs data processed prior to 2013, the data will need to be retrieved prior to March 1.
To retrieve the data, please use one of the following methods:
Option 1
- Login into PayPal Manager
- Click on Service Settings
- Click on Manage Profiles under Recurring Billing
- Enter the Profile ID
- Click Search
- Click View Payments
- Select format that you would like the information downloaded in
- Click Go
Option 2
Submit an inquiry call via API and include PAYMENTSHISTORY=Y
Below is an example inquiry request that would provide the Recurring Billing Payment Transaction History.
TRXTYPE=R&PARTNER=PayPal&VENDOR=xxxx&USER=xxxx&PWD=xxxx&ACTION=I
&PAYMENTHISTORY=Y&ORIGPROFILEID=RP0000001234
